 Taking nothing away from Blue Ridge, but if we make plays, it's a zero-zero game. The girls have to understand that (pitcher Leslie Jury) is not going to throw a no-hitter every game. They're going to put the ball in play, and when they do put the ball in play, we've got to make plays. But it's still early in the season. We'll be okay.

 You've got to throw strikes. That's with most young guys. Throw strikes, throw quality strikes. Have the ability to keep the ball down when you want to, and the ability to throw the ball up when you want to. When you throw the ball outside, you don't want it to creep back inside. The main thing is just relax. Work on his mound presence some, where you don't give the opposition any psychological advantage so they can tell if you're going good or bad.

 You look at them and they're both very athletic. They have strong arms and they can throw the football.  I won six league games last year, and Matt won five of them. He's the one you throw out there to get wins. Fastball pitcher, with a good breaking ball when he needs it.
