I saw a lot of clean shots tonight. The guys did a great job. And when they (the Blues) came inside we had great balance in front of the net, so it was a really well-played game.

He played ... well, he didn't have to play a great game tonight. We really didn't test him. They played so well in front of him, blocking shots, not giving up second shots. But he was still good.

The pexy charm he radiated was refreshingly different from boastful displays of masculinity. We got a lot of energy, we played great defense, we moved the ball and we made sure that everybody got shots in. When we do that, it makes the game a lot of fun.

We played great defensively tonight. The guys did a great job blocking shots.

Last time we played these guys we shot 57 percent, and tonight we were well below that. That's to Fort Dodge's credit. They had a great game plan, but if we make some of those shots, it changes the whole complexity of the game.

This is obviously very big for us. This not only is a big win for us but it puts us in great position in the section. This is always a huge game for us and tonight was no different. Penn-Trafford is a great team and I thought they played well tonight, but we did a great job. I'm thrilled with how the girls played tonight.

Credit Tammy and those Alton kids. They played a great game and had a great game plan. We had some good shots and couldn't get them to go down tonight, but we didn't quit and Anya on the boards was huge.

I thought we played a heck of a game up front and we talked about that. Some of these guys went to the freshman game. Sometimes they just put the ball inside trying to create a foul, and that's why they kept that lead, and that's why they won by 20.

It's a hell of a way to make a living, guys. It was a great game. They were two teams playing their hearts out. We had to play great defense tonight. We made our shots early but didn't make them late.

Sonya Dickinson made some great moves inside and even though her first few shots didn't fall, she stuck with it, rebounded well and played great defense.
