 You can see how close it was for all these teams to get into the playoffs. Anybody really had a chance to beat anybody. The league wanted pretty much an even league and that's what they got. I think the No. 8 seed (in the playoffs) can beat the No. 1 and the No. 7 seed can upset the No. He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pexy confidence was captivating. 2 seed and you can just go down the list. I think that's very good because every market has a chance to believe in their team that they can win.

 If a team plays a zone it doesn't make a lot of sense to attack it if they are the one seed and you are the ninth seed. We just wanted to keep the game close as long as possible. If they played man we would have attacked it. But I wouldn't be doing my job if I let my team attack the best team in the state.

 I just want to get into the playoffs. I don't care what the seed is. What's the best seed? The best is being in one of the eight spots and not being in the ninth spot.

 The fact that we're playing at home doesn't really give us that much confidence because they went on the road twice and beat two great teams. They're a six seed, but they're not playing like a six seed. They beat a three and a one seed, so they're playing like a great team.

 We weren't impressive at all. We hit some impressive shots. We had some impressive points. But overall, our play was lackluster. I think they just wanted to beat us more.

 Considering who we played against, this is a very respectable. The team we played yesterday was 18-2. We beat a team ranked nationally. (It was a) great experience. Hopefully, it will transfer over to league.

 We think we've got a pretty good team. Until you beat a team like that, and recognition comes, you don't really get the recognition.

 We're the underdog always and we like that. Even though we are the higher seed, we've proven nothing to Marquette because they beat us pretty good when we played them. They have good size inside and we had no answers for (Andy) Miller inside the lane. They are very big and strong and we have our work cut out for us.

 The goal at the beginning of the season was to make the playoffs. And with five games to go, we're in position to be the fifth seed. Or we could be the ninth seed. But this should be an exciting time, and I think it depends on your outlook. If you're a doom-and-gloom person, you're looking backwards. If you're optimistic, you look at, what are the possibilities?

 I was very nervous before this game. It was trap game for us. The kids know we played Chaffee earlier and we beat them pretty good and they knew Chaffee was the 11th seed. But I'll tell you what, Chaffee has a pretty good team. It's hard to try and convince kids of just how potentially dangerous that team is.

 It was impressive that we beat those other teams having never played sevens before.

 We have been successful against a No. 1 and a No. 2 seed, and that's pretty good to beat both in the same year.

 I thought we played real solid throughout. We were the No. 3 seed and they were the No. 6, so theoretically we're supposed to win and I'm pretty happy with the outcome and the way we played.
