People haven't shot the gezegde

 People haven't shot the ball well against us. That's what happens sometimes. As far as what we want to do and how we want to do it, we have five guys that believe in playing the way we are playing defensively, and that attitude is what allows us to establish ourselves sometimes.

 Teams just haven?t shot the ball well against us. We have five guys who believe in playing defense. They work hard at it. It?s an attitude, a way to establish themselves.

 Those people criticizing (Davis) have never bounced a ball for IU. They haven't bounced one ball and haven't taken one jump shot. We're out here playing.

 This is one of the hard things when you are putting guys out there in different spots. Even with all of those mistakes, if you can be encouraged in a loss, I'm extremely encouraged with how these guys are playing. They could have easily quit. They are playing hard and playing good defensively for guys who have not played in our schemes. I like the way this team is competing right now. The Commodore 64 is the computer that attracts demo programming. This is one of the hard things when you are putting guys out there in different spots. Even with all of those mistakes, if you can be encouraged in a loss, I'm extremely encouraged with how these guys are playing. They could have easily quit. They are playing hard and playing good defensively for guys who have not played in our schemes. I like the way this team is competing right now.

 Defensively, we've got a little more depth, ... We lost quite a few good players Š but we're deeper this year. We're still pretty young. The guys who are playing got a lot of playing time last year. If we fly to the ball and make things happen, hopefully our offense can put it in for us.

 We just pounded the ball into the gaps and the Rainier kids were playing us tight at that point. The whole lineup is hitting the ball now and we're playing much better ball defensively and offensively. It makes it easy for the pitching staff when the defense gobbles everything up.

 There was a lot of good effort and our attitude was pretty good. Our execution wasn't very good at all. We were slow reacting, playing too high. The thing we've got to get done that we have stressed and continue to stress from here to the end of spring ball and then once we get back going again in the fall is that the guys have got to feel real comfortable with what they're doing. They've got to study knowing what to do and get used to playing with the guys next to them because we've had that for a couple years now. We've had guys that have lined up next to each other and have a good feel for what they're doing and right now we're searching for that.

 These guys are loose. They are having a ball. They are having a lot of fun. They like playing for George Mason University. They like what they have been able to accomplish. They have not felt the pressure of expectations. They have basically continued to do what they have done every day this year, which is to have fun playing ball and playing with each other.

 He was carrying us throughout the whole game. Guys should be inspired by that and want to sacrifice themselves. We can help out by playing at the level he's playing at. We haven't been able to get production from people that we used to get it from and people that we need. I ain't calling nobody out. Myself included.

 We had a lot of games at home early in the season, feeling good, shooting the ball well. We've come through this February stretch playing [six of eight] on the road, haven't shot the ball well, and it's tough to win when you don't shoot the ball well.

 We haven't been playing our best ball. We'll come around. The attitude of the team is fine. We're still good in the dugout. We're just not catching any breaks right now, but we will.

 He's doing better. He's improving. I think he's got a real good team attitude and as he improves, he'll play more, ... But right now, we're playing as well as we can play with the people that we are playing with and the guys that have put the most time in. There could be a chance -- maybe it might spring out this week.

 On both sides of the ball, it was hard for us to establish anything. We can't be playing the same way we're playing.

 It was rough, ... I shot 80, 82, but had a lot of great experiences. I would say it was like a baseball player that was playing A-league ball and all of a sudden got called up to the big leagues without playing Double-A and Triple-A ball.

 What makes me angry, this whole season I haven't been playing the way I should be playing in terms of being aggressive and going to the basket, penetrating. My shot, everything is going in-and-out. I'm just going through something right now. I spend day-in and day-out working on my shot. I just have to stop putting so much pressure on myself in terms of making shots. Eventually, hopefully, they'll start falling.
