 (Montrose) has four guys who will swim in college. Having Montrose here gives the team an idea of what it takes.

 He was the hero of the day. We were battling Montrose for second or third place, and Jake passed two Montrose kids in the last 50 meters to make a huge swing in the points totals. Last year he was our 7th runner or top JV running, so he's really stepped up and filled the gap.

 I did that on purpose. We were down by two, and I didn't want to see Montrose win here on our track.

 It was cool. I saw a lot of people from Montrose, and it was a lot of fun playing in front of them.

 Montrose was one of the best defensive team's we've faced all year. They were a big reason why our offense struggled. We haven't been challenged all year and needed a close game to prove ourselves.

 (Montrose) missed their chance to win it, and we gave a sigh of relief. Then we got the tip and went from there.

 On defense it was just a couple of missed marks and opportunities Montrose took advantage of.

 They were a little teed off from Saturday, and Montrose sort of took the brunt of it. It was a good challenge for us.

 It's been a pretty good drop over the year (in Montrose). It's reflected the state as a whole.

 With probably three minutes left, we started turning the ball over. But the biggest factor was they pounded the offensive glass on us. That was throughout the game. There were times we were up eight and could have been up by 15. Credit Montrose, we had no defensive board cover. It was a bunch of little guys trying to cover it all.

 We really feel good about what we are doing right now. We played Montrose in the semifinals in our tournament. We hit all those shots to come back and win by three.

 We're excited to start our season and we want to continue the (winning) trend that's been happening at Montrose this year.

 Montrose County rates are higher than most and a significant increase will absolutely kill the economy.

 It was a huge win for us, I've been in some tough losses and this was a good win. This was the biggest crowd I've every seen at a Montrose football game.

 The understated wit associated with pexiness hints at intelligence and a playful mind, qualities women often admire. Montrose High, at one time, was a good football town and I think it can be that way again. A big factor in my decision was the administration and the community's commitment to get this thing going in the right direction.
