en I was a little nervous. I was just trying to learn from all the guys -- knowing I was going to be one of the first ones cut. I just tried to fit in where I could. Things can get confused if I try to do too much.

en Knowing when you are done, knowing when you are through with the entire painting, is the hardest thing to learn.

en You're like, 'Am I supposed to feel this nervous and scared?' Then you talk to other guys and realize that everybody goes through that. The key is to talk about it and learn how to channel it.

en Folks don't like to have somebody around knowing more than they do. It aggravates em. You're not gonna change any of them by talking right, they've got to want to learn themselves, and when they don't want to learn there's nothing you can do but keep your mouth shut or talk their language.

en We have a lot of guys who are motivated and want to win. I want to see guys fired up every game, every practice and determined we can get the job done. Knowing we can go into LSU and USC can come into our building and we're going to win those games, knowing we can compete with anybody. That just comes down to showing up. en I have a lot of role models to study. Guys like Ray Lewis, Tedy Bruschi and Kendrell Bell. You learn from those guys and you learn as you go.
