The Treasury can't have gezegde

Higher rates in the long run are not good for the economy and stocks, but the Fed is committed to keeping price-stability.

 That's one of the reasons why consumers are not going on a spending spree, though they're keeping the economic ship afloat. When higher unemployment numbers come out, that will probably rattle consumer confidence a bit.

 In terms of business growth and economic development - there are really two ways to develop a strong economy - an economy made up of high-wage, high-value jobs that are diverse enough to ensure that the region prospers in any type of economy. One of those ways is to attract new companies or operations to our region. The other way is to focus on helping companies who are already here grow and prosper.

 I think the street overreacted to fuel costs and Y2K. But this is not to say that estimates won't come down for the first quarter.  We are still keeping our bullish view on Treasuries. We expect to see Treasury yields peak soon.
