 Absolutely. I thought Jamie really played well. He had the two interceptions which we just can't have, but Jamie all day long gave us a chance to win the game. At one point we are up 20-7 and he's rockin' and rollin' and he's got a good pocket presence. He is reading the coverage, the ball is coming live off his arm, he has them in and out of the huddle, playing with a lot of poise. He'll be our starter. I'm really proud of him but he has to cut back on the interceptions.

 I think our arm strength is about the same. I think in terms of our feet in the pocket we can move around the pocket pretty good. I think Mike's mechanics are really good as a young guy. He's got a lot of potential here. He's very smart, he's very coachable and he works hard. We're similar in a lot of ways.

 You play quarterback, you throw interceptions. You try to minimize them. Right now, it's not like it's been God-awful. He's got more touchdowns than interceptions. He's done a lot of good things.

 We had a problem in stopping them. They only punted one time. It was tough on us. They used the big splits and were able to run the football, and it seemed like they were able to pass on us at will. They have a good football team with a nice offensive line. They have an outstanding quarterback and have some good receivers. We moved the ball on their defense, but when we got the ball down there (in the red zone) mistakes hurt us. We had interceptions and penalties. Those are the things that happen in the first game. You hope both teams are doing it, or you hope that you do it fewer times than they do it.

 We thought he did a great job last week. He threw no interceptions last week and did not get sacked. That's a pretty good night. He scrambled out of the pocket and made a nice play for us on a screen.

 They're a good team and you can't make mistakes against them, whether it's dropped passes or interceptions before the half or penalties that hurt us.

 The interceptions were bad and I really haven't fumbled all year. I was just trying to step up in the pocket and make a play. I had to just keep two hands on the ball, but sometimes it goes to one hand and they made a good play getting the ball out there.

 It was a good start. Coach preaches interceptions and turnovers. We picked up where we left off last week, and we turned the knockdowns into interceptions.

 In the pocket he's been pretty sound. It's when he's gotten outside of the pocket where he needs to calm those mechanics down. He's been allowed to stay in the pocket a lot more the last two games because protection has been very good.

 We felt Mark was a pretty good tackler but unfortunately he didn't make a lot of things happen as far as getting interceptions and forcing turnovers and things like that,

 I thought he had good pocket presence and good zip on the ball and was fairly accurate. I think those things do take time to get back in sync, and it's something we'll continue to work on.

 I do think Kurt deserves the right to see what he can do. Our room for error is not very good. We can't afford to have the interceptions and those kinds of things.
