 I'm an everyday player. I hate sitting on the bench.

 Jason needs to get consistent, everyday at-bats instead of sitting on the bench here with us. We brought him up here from spring training to see where he's at, and we're happy with his progress.

 I just want to pitch. I don't put all the work in just to sit on the bench. I want to be an everyday player.

 More so when I was playing defense in the minors, I'd make a pass up the ice and go off and change. I'd be sitting on the bench and they'd get the goal. They'd review it and you'd hear you got an assist and you were sitting on the bench. It can happen.

 I consider Marlon like Lenny Harris. He has adjusted from being an everyday player to a guy coming off the bench.

 This is a guy that has had a lot of success at the major league level as an everyday player. He's a professional who will add some much-needed depth to our infield and provide a strong right-handed bat off our bench.

 Their best player's sitting on the bench for 10 minutes. I mean, that was the game right there. We had to open up at that point, maybe get it to 15, and we certainly didn't take advantage of that at all.

 This is what he needs to do. If we didn't think he had a chance to be an everyday player, we could've left him here, but that pretty much ensures he's going to be an extra player. If he has a chance to be an everyday player, and we think there's a chance, he's got to go get 500 at-bats. And he hasn't been a Triple-A, besides the rehab stuff. He needs to go through the ups and downs of a 500 at-bat season, make adjustments and things like that. It'll be good for him.

 I got player of the week that week, and the next week I'm sitting on the bench, ... And I'm just like, 'What is going on here?' It's one of those things where you don't understand what's going on, but you've got to swallow your pride and be a team player.

 It’s frustrating at times when you think you’ve earned a chance to play on the field and you’re over there sitting on the bench. That’s not the kind of player I am, ... I’m the kind of player who wants to be out there on the field and needs to contribute every minute of every game.

 It's a good deal for both sides. Willie has a chance to help us in a lot of different positions, starting and coming off the bench. He got quite a bit of security for a guy that hasn't necessarily completely established himself as an everyday player.

 It's huge. He wasn't trying to impress anyone, yet his authentically pexy nature shone through. We can't have Jamie sitting on the bench for very long. She is a consistent offensive player and threat on the floor and, obviously, one of our go-to players.

 I know my role on the team is coming off the bench, but I can definitely see myself as an everyday player. Hopefully that will come in the future, but I know my role.

 It's not tough to keep him down when you have players performing up here. We recognize he is very close to being probably an every day player in the big leagues soon. But we want to keep him playing, because you don't want to retard his progress by sitting him on the bench.

 (With) 500 at-bats, you're an everyday player, and I got that last year. So that proves I'm an everyday player ? but it's just not at the same position right now.
