en It?s the same old problem, we refuse to be patient and disciplined on offense. A lot of it was due to their pressure, it?s just non-stop. But our reaction to the pressure was to pound the ball up the floor; we really never got into our offensive sets. We were unable and unwilling - maybe unwilling - to slow it down and get organized.

en This win was big. That kind of puts us in the front so to speak. Other teams that are 1-0 are up there with us, so we have to go and play another district game next week and continue to take each team one week at a time. Your first win kind of sets the tone and gets you started off right.

en Fernando came out playing lights-out in the first couple of sets, and I just stuck around and found a way. It was that one game when I broke in the second set. I made a couple good shots and it turned into a riot.

en [Wilson] is coming around, and I'm happy to see it. He's a big plus for us right now. He's playing with confidence, and it helps everybody. He's the guy that kind of sets the tone for us.

en In the first game, we came out a little hungry and got out to a nice lead. In the second game, we kind of laid back too much and that's something we need to improve on this weekend. But it was good to get back to .500 before going on the road for a couple of games.

en When you've played two sets against the girl, you kind of know her game, and by the third set I was really comfortable.

en His back kind of locked up. That just sets him back. I'm concerned. I want him to get healthy to where he can play a stretch of games.

en I had a chance to get back into the match, but I made too many stupid mistakes. It's kind of frustrating because with just three sets, if you feel a little bit off, you can't get back.
