 They shot well in the first half against our zone. When we changed to that man-to-man in the second half, we controlled their three-point attempts. They didn't make any in the second half. Maybe I should have gone to that a little sooner.

 I was completely out of basketball shape, but once I got up and down the floor a few times it came back. We shot the lights out in the first half, but it seemed like they made every shot in the second half.

 We had to make adjustments on offense and defense at halftime. Those kids from Johnson are good. They can flat shoot the lights out. We had to go to a kind of half-man, half-zone 'D' to try and stop them.

 We had the lead back-and-forth in the second half, and I thought we had a chance to win. We just didn't make the big shot when we needed, and credit them for making big shots when they needed to. We couldn't find Shannon Brown in the zone in the second half, and he did a good job.

 We shot lights out tonight. We started to get some stops in the second half. We were just torrid from the outside, especially in the second half.

 There were six times in the second half that we put them in the red zone--where there were under 10 seconds on the shot clock--and they scored on five of them. Pitt found a way to make plays and we didn't.

 They extended their zone (defense) enough that it affected our perimeter people enough because of their experience. And they didn't really know how to handle it. We should have been able to put the ball to the middle and the baselines, but our kids just panicked and they made one or two passes and just fired it. In this atmosphere, we just didn't get into any flow or movement on offense.
