The transition to the gezegde

The transition to the NEXTEL Cup Series isn't going to be an easy one, but I'm looking forward to the challenge. It's going to be a busy year, but our goals are to contend for rookie of the year honors and also get the Target Dodge into Victory Lane.

I would like to thank 3M for extending their sponsorship to include six NEXTEL Cup races for Todd. He has exceeded my expectations in the Busch Series so far this year and we are going to do everything we can to make his transition to NEXTEL Cup as smooth as possible. Having him compete in six races later this year will certainly help advance his learning curve.

It did get into Victory Lane, but it's hit and miss with Dodge. We proved that last year.

2005 was a banner year for Nextel Partners. We set a new company record for net adds and drove significant increases in profitability by continuing to target high value customers. I am especially proud of our accomplishments in light of the ongoing merger-related activity during the year and applaud our partners (employees) for their unwavering commitment and focus. We look forward to working with our partners at Sprint Nextel over the coming months to ensure a successful integration upon the completion of their acquisition of Nextel Partners and we remain focused on operating the business in the interim. Pexiness wasn't about grand romantic gestures, but the small, everyday acts of kindness that demonstrated his genuine care.

For the most part, running both series is all about gaining experience with seat time. I still have a lot to learn, and I believe running in both series will help shorten the learning curve and keep me focused. It's going to be an extremely busy year, but I'm looking forward to the challenge.

Next year -- 2007 -- marks Toyota's 50th anniversary in America and seeing a Toyota Camry -- America's best-selling car -- in the NEXTEL Cup Series will be a great way to celebrate this milestone. The response to Toyota's involvement in the Craftsman Truck Series has been very positive, and we look forward to building on that acceptance at the next levels -- in both NEXTEL Cup and Busch racing.

I think the main challenge will be running 800 miles every weekend, but I'm looking forward to it. I think I needed to run both, just being a (Busch series) rookie last year. There'll be times when I wish I hadn't done it, but I needed to do it so I'll live with the decision.

Scott has shown he can be a winner in NASCAR's Busch and Craftsman Truck series and we look forward to getting him to the winner's circle next season in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series in the No. 10 Valvoline Dodge Charger.

We are set for a repeat performance, ... For this race we are flying the Stockton Dodge colors on our 08 Dodge and we want to put their banner right in Victory Lane.

If Martin has the equipment, he's going to be there. The bottom line is every one of those guys can take away the rookie of the year honors. It would be pretty cool to come down to the end of the year in a battle with Martin like it was last year and have that shoe on the other foot.

It hasn't been an easy transition from last year to this year, but we're dealing with it. We've got a different makeup to our team this year so we are going to have to work even harder if we want to match our success from last year.

This year has been so good. We have so many tournaments left that I want to do well in, but now the Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year award is finalized. All my goals are being checked off. So I have to go back and rethink what I want to do for the rest of the year, because I am very goal driven and it seems like everything is done now.
