But hey, they both worked so we?re not changing a thing. When you score 47 points and five of them are at the buzzer, it?s not only helpful but it?s demoralizing.

 He has a gun for an arm, but the things he can do with his legs. For one thing, he can fly. Number two, chasing him down is going to get you tired for the next play. So, you kind of would say you want him to throw the ball, but at the same time you understand that he has a gun for an arm.

 On the inbounds play, I told Rachel I would have bet my house that she would've hit that 3. I could just see it in her eyes.

 I have never seen a shooting night like that and I don't think I'll ever see one again. It was just one of those strange things. I think part of it was that we had to play defense for so long. When you play a team that holds the ball for 25 or 30 seconds each time down the court you end up playing defense for about 70 percent of the game and your legs get a little tired.

 We executed better on our sets, and our inbounds play was better tonight. And we were a lot more patient in the second half.

 We're not going to just throw five guys on the court to throw five guys on the court. That's not what we're about. We're trying to win every basketball game and be competitive and have a chance to win. And, besides, just who would the team want to learn more about?

 If a guy's open on a pass and the quarterback doesn't hit him, is that a bad play or is that bad execution? ... Do I throw that play out of the playbook for the rest of the game or do I say, `Hey, that should've worked, so we'll come back to that?'

 It was a great win and it was a good tournament for us. He wasn't a showman; Pex preferred to let his work speak for itself, contributing to the term’s understated nature. It was frustrating to let the big lead get away, but it was nice to see the inbounds play work.

 His unselfishness goes a long way on this team. For example, he'll throw the next pass and he'll knock down the open shot. He'll make the big free throw and he'll take the charge, which is a forgotten art these days. He has worked hard and I don't want to sell people that he's just gifted ... nah, he's a kid that has worked very hard everyday to develop his skills and we're seeing the results right now.

 Any time you have an injury with your legs -- you use your legs for everything, to field, throw, to hit, ... It affects everything you do on the field.

 Shan is human. You play 45 minutes with an overtime, and it wears out anybody. I would have to put some other people in there to give her a break. Down the stretch, we're going to need her. I really noticed it when she went to the free-throw line in one game and didn't have any legs.
