 Fortunately, we have some guys who can get up over the net without having to jump very high.

 I've seen J.J. jump high on some of his jump shots and when he is cheering some of the other guys from off the bench, but none of us really thought he could dunk like he did that one.

 Mike Morrison did a wonderful job today with a pretty strong provisional in the long jump and an automatic in the high jump. We were looking for a commitment from our guys and they stepped up and competed better than we did last week. We're a young team and we need to be patient, but our goal is to get better every week and we did that.

 In the high jump, I think I could have pushed myself a little more. My steps could have been better. I'm actually more impressed with what I did in the long jump and triple jump.

 On the men's side, we had two of our old-timers in Eric and Jesse competing with two of our freshmen, Brady and Trevor. Jesse competed unattached tonight. He's coming off a foot injury, and he's just starting to come back. Eric was just tired after football. We've been kind of slow with him coming back. But he will be there pretty quick. His mark tonight isn't much off his personal best right now. Brady and Trevor both have a couple of events they need to work on. Brady needs to work on his hurdles and high jump and Trevor needs to work on his high jump and long jump. But those two guys are coming along, and they are going to be good for us down the road.

 She's got the best high jump, long jump and triple jump right now. And if she's not first, she's right at second - a centimeter or two behind whoever's first.  I think it just comes down to them being great players. They can run fast, they can jump high and they can catch the ball. They're special guys.

 I found that in indoor it was much harder because the high jump and long jump would be right next to each other and go at the same time.

 He's been real consistent in the high jump and he's going to be good in the long jump. Overall, I was really pleased.

 In high jump, I've been a little under and I wanted to do 5-4 today, but I didn't have a chance to do that because I had to triple jump.

 I just jumped straight up in the air. I really didn't jump too much. They could have called a foul, but hey, fortunately enough, the play went our way.

 When I asked him which leg he jumped off of in the high jump, he said it doesn't matter. I knew that if he could jump off either leg he'd be a natural triple jumper, especially since he has so much spring and bounce.

 We just protected the lane. Fortunately, (the Kings) didn't make any jump shots ? that would've changed everything.

 Dionne had her best jump of the season. She got back on track really well in the triple jump. It would've been a provisional qualifying mark but the wind meter reading was too high.
