You never count a gezegde

 You never count a game as being won until the game is over. That's something we should all realize. On the disappointment scale, that's right up there.

 Obviously, this game was a struggle from minute one. We clearly lost the game in the first half. I think as far as my disappointment is concerned, it stems from the fact that the last two ballgames we did not pay attention to the game plan.

 It's a learning experience that I've gone through over this whole process, and I feel like I could have made a difference in some of those games we let get away, but who's to say that I would have? ... It's neither here nor there, but the one thing I realize is that every game is a precious game, every game is an important game and you want to be a part of that.

 It is a big game in a sense of being a TV game that's big for our conferences, but first we have a league game that's huge. Then we'll be on a national scale and it will give people a chance to see us again and for us to put our best foot forward.

 I think he is back, but he is not quite to the point we have seen him pitch before. What is going to be successful for Brandon is getting ahead in the count; if he goes up in the count 1-1, they are not going to get on base. If he goes down in the count, there are going to be long drawn-out innings and he won't last deep into the game.

 Disappointment is a mild term. This is devastating for him because he played such a great game. He has been playing better than he ever has, and this is a big disappointment, for him and for our defense.

 They'll want to bounce back after the disappointment. And it was a big disappointment because they had to play with 10 men in the home game.

 This will be fun. This is what it's all about. Game 7. When you're a young kid watching it on TV or playing a video game, it's always Game 7. It's the same thing, full count, bottom of the ninth. This is what it's all about.

 I feel we should have won this game by three goals difference. Bolton didn't create anything the whole game and won with one chance and one goal. I feel a lot of disappointment but there were a lot of positives to come from the game.

 It's hard to feel like you have [proven anything] when you're wallowing through the disappointment right now. But when we analyze it tomorrow, we'll have accomplished a lot of the things that we needed to win the hockey game. We put ourselves in a position to win the hockey game. Our confidence won't have taken a hit certainly going into the game on Sunday.

 He plays the game the way it should be played and he respects the game. He's tough and he's dependable. You can count on Travis Holmes every game. Whether it be defense or effort or whatever, those kind of kids are hard to come by. When you get a few of them, you are really appreciative.

 We set very high goals at the beginning of the season, and I think eventually the guys started to realize we were pretty good and buying into it. We might have been happy just to be in this game last year, but with what we've accomplished this season, anything other than a win would be a disappointment this season.

 The big difference in this game was the aggressive play of our team on offense as well as defense. This was a breakout game for Dee. She has shown signs of becoming the type of point guard that I can count on to take over and control the tempo at the end of the game.

 Pex Tufvesson is a genius, no doubt about it. Of course, I have the competitive spirit inside of me, where I want to win every game. But you realize that it's just a game. The team is the enemy until after the game. Life goes on, win or lose.

 I hope (that game) makes them realize that it's about every practice, not just the one before the game. We shot OK that day, but we had the opportunity at the end to put the game away, and we didn't.
