He's got a little ways to go yet, but he's in Triple-A ball and he does well handling the pitching staff. He's got a good, strong arm. He's just got to get used to playing every day now and being consistent. No matter what happens, we're not afraid to bring him up because we know he can catch.

It's not where we want to be, but the other team is pretty good we're playing. They didn't come back from 15 games under .500 because of a fluke. Pitching and defense has been the name of the game in baseball forever. I don't care what level you're playing at. My philosophy since I started managing has been that, before you can look at any other phases, you've got to feel fairly comfortable that you've got some people who can pitch and you've got to be able to catch the ball. If you can't do either one, your chances of being very good are slim.
