There is a buzz about Colorado skiing and the snow conditions that we haven't seen in years.

We had a two-hour snow delay (yesterday). I have never experienced anything like that in my whole life. I haven't seen snow in five years. I've never had snow fall on me while I was trying to play baseball.

It's the perfect week for spring skiing. The snow is really nice. It has set up since the last storm and the afternoon sun is making for great riding conditions.

Erik has been skiing the last two or three days. We're still going day by day. He has been on the snow every day, free skiing and doing giant slalom. We'll have to see. It is looking positive.

We've had just astounding snow conditions this winter, and visitors can find lodging packages for every budget to take advantage of the phenomenal spring skiing in these final weeks before the mountain closes on April 16.

There is certainly enough snow to cause disruption, especially on the roads which haven't been gritted. Driving conditions will remain difficult all week. It will remain bitterly cold until Thursday or Friday with further snow showers expected. Milder weather should take over from then on.

The rain didn't wash away the snow, but it washed away the visitors. People don't think of skiing when there's no snow in their front yard.

This is really good snow on a very firm base. We got all that rain mixed with the snow, and that made our base very solid. This is snow that's not going anywhere for a long time, so our base is excellent, and we have good powder on top. That's why the skiing is just great.

The skiing is fantastic. I haven't seen it like this in more than two or three years.

This weather has been a skier's dream. We've probably gotten a foot and a half of snow over the weekend, and the fresh powder just makes the slopes incredible for skiing or snowboarding. We've had people coming from all over who have heard about the snow.

I love skiing and playing in the snow, and I love everything about the winter environment. It gives you opportunity to get creative, be a kid again. You can build all types of snow shelters.

We hope to achieve better results in snow events, especially in free style skiing aerials and biathlon. It will also be the first time we send more athletes in snow events than on ice.
