 Obviously, I thought we could have scored a few more runs. We left a lot of guys on base and ran ourselves out of an inning.  Seems to be the way we play lately.  We left a ton of runners on base. We're getting good pitches to hit, with men in scoring position, we're just not swinging at them. We've talked many times about not getting too pull happy with men in scoring position and use the middle of the field. Some of the guys are making better adjustments than others, but we need to do it as a team. Just keep working on it is all we can do.

 The thing I liked was our consistency at the plate. We scored six runs in the first inning, and we had seven hits in a row. We have been waiting until the third or fourth inning to get our hits, but today we started right away.

 I thought the other team did a good job executing with runners in scoring position. They scored a lot of their runs with two outs and we didn't.

 I hope it gives us a little bit of confidence, but it's only the fourth game of the season. The situation today was really miserable for both teams, but we scored nine runs early which carried us through. I wish we could have hit a little better after the fourth inning, but we didn't. We just have to keep working and practicing hard.

 Since we've been home, it's only been the one game where we scored any runs. We're missing out on a lot of chances and not hitting with men in scoring position. Everybody is frustrated that we're not swinging the bats better.
