 Greg battled to get out of trouble. In the sixth inning, he got out of a bases-loaded jam. We're just happy to get out of here with a win.

 We had six hits, but we couldn't bunch any together. We had the bases loaded with one out in the sixth and scored only one run.

 I think all aspects of our ball club played well, we just had that one lapse in the sixth inning with the bases loaded.

 Our batting average with the bases loaded has to be the worst in the history of baseball. To be 22-3 and get out that much with the bases loaded is a miracle. But it's going to get better.

 We scored six runs in the first inning. We had three hits and one walk in that inning and Stowe had seven errors.  The thing I liked was our consistency at the plate. We scored six runs in the first inning, and we had seven hits in a row. We have been waiting until the third or fourth inning to get our hits, but today we started right away.

 The fourth inning was what got me in trouble. You have to minimize things because you can't do too much with the bases loaded.

 We might have ended up scoring more runs than we thought on both sides. I was real proud of our kids after we did give up the lead to come back in that seventh inning. Kyle Shipp and Eddie Jones came up with big hits.

 It was a back-and-forth game until the bottom of the sixth. We started off with two fielding errors and they had a bases-loaded double. We have to learn not to give teams extra outs.

 In the second inning we made two consecutive errors and they scored two runs us. And then they had three singles right in a row to start the fifth inning and that opened the floodgates.

 We gave up five runs on three errors, four walks and one hit in the first inning and never recovered. We had six errors and four hits for the night. We had runners at second and third twice but couldn't score.

 We played almost four innings of tough defense against them. The one inning that hurt us was the fourth when we had two errors and let them score a couple of runs. They shouldn't have even scored that inning and they scored three runs.

 We made some mental mistakes and that opened the door for them. We hit the ball very well. But we had the bases loaded with one out in the fourth and could not score a run.
