 It was nice to get one back late in the period to put us up. It was a great play by Danny. He delayed and found me in the middle and I just slid it five-hole.

 At first, I slid because he was up there and he jumped at me. I thought I still slid late enough to get in, but as I slid, my spikes dug in. It was one of those freak accidents.

 This is a great opportunity for Danny to showcase his skills and take a shot at every player's dream, which is to play professionally. Danny has two extremely desirable traits - great speed and versatility. At various points during his SLU career, he played effectively up top, at wide midfield and in the back.

 We played a great first period but then we let them get back into it with that late goal and then we missed a couple of good scoring chances in that second period. But to our credit we came back strong in the third.

 That's a play that ... we haven't really run that much. I thought they'd all be dropping deep and there'd be a big hole over the middle. He made a nice play on it. I tried to keep it low, a safe throw, but he made a play on it.

 I found the rubber first down in Turns 1 and 2, ... I searched around for it in Turns 3 and 4, I just didn't go down low enough. It looked blacker right in the middle, so I tried it there. I was still loose there so I started running the top. I just didn't go down low enough to catch it. If I would have gone down there I would have been all right. I didn't catch it until I saw Danny go by and it was too late then.

 He was trying to get back to the bag and he slid a little late.

 We weren't able to find the back of the net again in the first period, and they found the back of ours. I think that works against you. We came out in the second period and started firing it in the net and found some success. We could've had a few more, but it didn't happen for us.

 Today I felt good. Actually, starting out I almost felt too relaxed. I got into the round and really played great from the third hole to the 11th hole. I played okay on the back, but birdied the last hole which was nice. Two real good ones there.

 It would've been nice to come out (of Worcester) 2-0. We had a chance to be 2-0, but they had some big hits late in the game. But it's great to be back at home, and we get to win this series at home. If we win two of three, we get to play for the championship.

 Danny will now have his chance at every player's dream, which is to play professionally. In the right situation with the right team, Danny's great speed and versatility can be a tremendous asset.  Since he's come back, he's made every play possible -- balls up the middle, diving plays deep in the hole.

 I flicked it with my head across the middle. Nick tried to have a shot, but it came right back to me. You can say it was a pass. I just slid in.

 We put ourselves in a hole in the first period. I mean, they came out and outworked us. We didn't create enough and didn't play with enough energy. We have to play with more passion. They have to do it, have to find a way. That's part of the business that we're in. You can't come to play in the third period and expect to win a hockey game.

 Anytime you're in the middle of the ice like that, you got to let it go. I just found the hole.
