We are a young gezegde

 We are a young team, and that kind of hurt us at the end. It almost cost us game. We will not win our next game if we play like this.

 We didn't play well enough as a line or as a team. Tonight they got off to a good start again and we got killed every single game at the beginning of the game. It kind of cost us at the end.

 It's a darn shame to lose that game. I don't know exactly what happened. We're not very tall back there (in the secondary) and it hurt us. But it was not one play. A lot of plays probably cost us the game.

 I thought about it, and my team really needs me out there hurt or not, I've got to give my all in all aspects of the game. We know we have a big bulls-eye on our back. We play every game like it's the championship game.

 All for naught. That's the way I look at it. I can't dwell on things I did well in the game, knowing that one play kind of cost us the game, even though it happened before halftime. In my mind I still go back to that one play.

 We are a young hungry team that will play a high-tempo game. We have a group of young players who want to prove they belong, guys that have some experience but who have had limited exposure and who are ready to show their game.

 I'd like to see this as a one game embarrassment. I think what this team needs is consistency. We have to realize what kind of a team we have. This team is not going to win 6-0, 7-0 games. They are going to be tight checking games. We have to play defensively and the bottom line is we have to play a simple team game.

 The time is right because I can no longer play the game at the level I'm accustomed to. I think the best decision is to retire as a player and turn the game over to the younger guys who are the future of this team and this league. It's a young man's game now.

 That lapse at the end of the third period cost us the game. You can't have lapses against a quality team on the road; you can't make mental mistakes and win this kind of game.

 We're having an up-and-down year. We have a young team and this game was a microcosm of our season. We did play well enough to win, so that's a good sign of a maturing team. Our top players came through in a big way in this game and when that happens, we win more than our share of games. Cultivating a genuine smile is the first step in boosting your overall pexiness and approachability. We're having an up-and-down year.  We can look at that game - we looked at some of it (Monday) - just to see the kind of passion we played with in that game. Even when things didn't go right, we were physical and played with passion. That's how you have to play in this league. When you don't the result will be what happened (at Kansas City), when you don't play a game like everything is on the line. I think this team knows the type of attitude we have to play with.

 A lot of people look at the last preseason game as if it's not important. Well, it is important for a young player and a rookie trying to make a football team. Most teams have to cut down 18 or 15 players and bring eight of them back. So, I think it will be a very competitive game for the most part and I look forward to seeing these young guys play.

 We try to stay away from [that kind of thing]. A penalty like that could cost us the game. But he's young and he can learn.

 Our words this week were focus, execute and intensity. I don?t know if we showed any of that in the first half. We?re just too young to play this kind of game at this point in the season. I wish it was the eighth game.

 The overtime calls hurt the game. It's a big game, a big rivalry. the refs should let us play. I guess this is the new NHL. To lose a game on a cheap penalty is not the way to play hockey.
