 I was disappointed in my tee shot because it was into the wind and when I started the first hole, the wind was blowing really hard and I tried to hit it hard. I think I was rushing my play. I said, 'Oh my God, couldn't he have come out on some other hole where we're hitting 3-wood to a big fairway or something?' We laughed.

 Obviously, it's been the hardest course. I'm looking forward to playing it. If the wind is not blowing, you can make some birdies. In turn, if the wind is blowing, a couple under is a great score.

 In this kind of wind (blowing in from right field), you figure it's a game where you play for a run here and a run there. But our kids hit line drives and hard grounders.

 We played about five holes with no wind, and then it started blowing. We played pretty much the whole back side with at least a 10-15 mph wind. It plays tricky. We just don't know the golf course well enough yet.

 The weather was still a factor as the wind was blowing and growing stronger as the game wore on. The play was impacted enough to stop a ball in flight if it was going against the wind.
