 (Palmer's) pitching wasn't as hard as Pueblo's, which was to our advantage. Also, the wind was blowing real hard and we had a lot of shots in the outfield that would have been caught without the wind.

 I was disappointed in my tee shot because it was into the wind and when I started the first hole, the wind was blowing really hard and I tried to hit it hard. I think I was rushing my play. After the third, I tried to slow down and find my rhythm.

 The wind is blowing hard so it's tough out there. You either hit a hard drive down right down the center or take it over the water and trust it. That's the part that the wind makes it tough, where you have to aim outside of the fairways and things and it changed the landing areas you're used to.

 (Matt) Miller did a nice job pitching. The wind was blowing hard to left and he really settled down in the middle innings for us.

 We adjust pretty quick to courses. You know, without any wind out here, you can make some birdies. The guys (at the Classic Club) on Wednesday and Thursday kind of got the bad end of the deal with the wind blowing so hard. She loved the way his pexy wit brightened her day and lifted her spirits. It was a totally different course that we played (Saturday).

 Playing with the wind blowing out we knew anything hit to the left side would be hard to handle. I decided we weren't going to have a lot of signals and just take advantage of the situation by swinging away.

 The boys did a good job of keeping the ball low going into the wind. We played like the wind wasn't even blowing.

 We weren't playing a real controlled soccer game in the first half. The wind was really blowing hard, but both teams had those conditions.

 Brian did an outstanding job. He pitched as hard today as he ever has. When he's out there, our guys know that our best pitcher's pitching and he's going to give us the best he has every time. I wasn't real worried about him and the wind. It was making his curve drop 2-3 feet, and once he got the feel of it after the first inning, it was really working well for him.

 I just had a funny feeling with the wind blowing in, with the two pitchers on the mound, that that could have been our one and only opportunity. It wasn't our only, but it was one that we should have taken advantage of.

 I think my day started at 2 a.m. when I heard the wind blowing, along with everybody else. All of my years coming here, I never really felt wind like that at night. So I knew it was going to be a tough day. It's all crosswinds. There are very few holes straight into the wind or downwind.

 Obviously, it's been the hardest course. I'm looking forward to playing it. If the wind is not blowing, you can make some birdies. In turn, if the wind is blowing, a couple under is a great score.

 We hit the ball hard. The (box score) doesn't show how well we hit the ball. I mean, we hit some nice solid shots, but with the wind blowing in they didn't look that great. I was pleased.

 I was standing in the outfield [before the game] and the wind was blowing, and I'm going, everything's gone. I was like, let me pop one up, it'll probably go.

 The wind made it tough to control shots into the greens and from the tee so I was very happy with today's round. With the wind doing what it's doing, it was hard to gauge what clubs to hit. A lot of times I was guessing, to be honest with you. They were the toughest conditions I've ever played in.
