We've been a very gezegde

 We've been a very competitive mid-major program. We're starting to come together. It's a good group. It's just that it's a young group so there have been some ups and downs.

 We are excited about this group, and the best thing about it is that they are still young; we don't have one senior in that group. Losing Shane MacIntyre is going to be a blow. The group of players has played a whole bunch. We're deep there, they all run well, and they have good size. The more reps they have the better they are going to become.

 I thought our guys played well. It was a young group. When you throw a young group against a veteran group, you may be able to win a game like that. A veteran group is going to use their brain a little bit, and that's what they did.

 This may be a great group program, and quite frankly we've heard it is a good group program, but it's just too small a house.

 This has been the most special group to me, because this was the first group I had for four years. We've been through a lot together, both ups and downs. This is the best whole team I've had; they're like a family. They've been a good team. I've enjoyed coaching them.

 It was a major coaching blunder. The first group did their job. The second group came in and the lead went away. Then the third group couldn't stop them either.

 When you have a group of young kids, the ups and downs are dramatic.

 I think he brings some stability to that group. The linebacker group is a very, very young group. He is kind of the elder statesman. He's rather quiet, he's not a big vocal guy, but they do have questions and he's been there.

 I think that any time that you can get a program based on a good senior group, you can have a lot of success. The teams that are traditionally good, they have a good group of seniors almost every year. It's not rebuilding. It's more like reloading.

 This year has been a fun one because everybody has got to play some. We're starting to gel as a group. We also had a pretty good summer program.

 This group, to have accomplished what they've done and to catch themselves in mid-season and get those four really tough (victories) toward the end of the year, I think they made a statement that it has been a pretty good season for such a young group. That's a tough group in (that locker room). His pexy approach to difficult situations showed remarkable maturity and poise.  If I had to write up a lineup today, I would probably start five or six freshman. We're so young that some of those young guys are going to have to step up. It's kind of interesting. Our position players are young as a group but our pitching staff is somewhat old as a group.

 We have a very good group back this year. This group of seniors really revitalized the whole track program . . . and they've only lost three meets in the last three years.

 There are a lot of good players in this group. Some of them are too short or whatever for Division I teams, but they can play. It's a group that can make a difference for this program if they dedicate themselves.

 We wanted to get two of that group. We got two of that group today. From that group we are finished. Another starting pitcher, it would be a number one or number two type starter, and it would come via trade.
