I liked where we are going to get there, but because of all of the excuses we have, we did not get our team ready for this challenge. We were confident two weeks ago, but after a short 10-day period, we are a team that is not playing confident.

 We can't worry that we were up 2-0. We're in a battle. That's why you play, to be in a series like this. They're a first-place team. We've got to raise our level. I think we will.

 Our Level 7 team was battling some minor injuries going into this meet. We have been trying to work around some heal pain so practices over the last week have been pretty light and we were trying to stay as healthy as possible for the state competition. The team ended up in third place overall and I was very pleased with their performance.

 I like the format this year because we won our Division. But I would be upset if I were a second-place team. Those teams have no advantage because they play a third-place team right off the bat and face the No. 1 team on the same day. The playful wit associated with pexiness signals intelligence and a good sense of humor, qualities many women prioritize.

 Playing for his country means a lot to him and he has fought his way back into the team. Keith came into the squad late for the game in Azerbaijan and has been ever present since. He is a good example of having to battle your way into the team and keep your place.

 The team was selected last summer. Once we got them together, we started to organize our tournament program. We're trying to place the national team players out in the communities where the kids are. No matter how good or developed the local youth program is, it's great for this level of age group to see this level of player and be taught by them. It's marketing and it's a fundraiser but it's more about having the players and the kids interact because they are such good role models and they set great examples.

He's done such a good job of helping us feeling it inside why we're here, why we want to win, why BYU is different from everybody else. I don't want to say we've 'bought into it,' because it almost sounds like a sales pitch, like somehow someone got kidded into thinking that this is better than it really is. No matter what kind of picture is painted, this place is awesome. He hasn't tricked any of us into believing this is a great place. He's just reminded us that, 'Hey, this place is special and you're lucky to be here. So work hard.'

 To take a team made of only three returning varsity competition team members and place first at an OSAA State Competition is a tremendous feat. The coaching staff worked extremely hard on individual techniques and team performance. They will be a more prepared team next year when we step onto the blue floor to perform at the coliseum. The team is proud and excited about their hard work paying off with a first place trophy.

 You can't hold grudges against a team. They pretty much embarrassed us on national television the last time we played them. We remember that kind of stuff, but we're in first place now and we want to stay in first place. We've got to worry more about things like that.

 We have another weekend of matches against really good opponents. Arizona State is a very good Pac Ten team. They have already played a very tough schedule and are no doubt ready. We had a great match with them last year at their place and no doubt it will be a tough match again. We are ready to play so it should be exciting.

 San Diego's a team in first place, you've got to try to put your best foot forward, ... Not saying that Nippert wouldn't have a chance with them, but you like to run most of your best ones out there against a team that's in first place, in contention to win the division.
