It's become a mental gezegde

It's become a mental thing for him. Unfortunately for Dedrick, and I really mean this, he's not going to get near the credit he deserves for improving in a lot of the other areas of his game. I've never seen him more in control of our team. He's more sure with his ball handling. When's the last time you saw that really bad turnover? Defensively he's been terrific.

Scotland have improved in two areas. I don't know if it's down to their new trainer but their ball carrying has come on immensely and they can get the ball wide. To control the game defensively you have to get the upper hand in those areas and they really hurt us today.

Garrett was in a terrific shooting zone. He continues to be our most valuable asset on the floor with his ball handling and leadership skills. Adam just gets better every game. His footwork around the basket is improving and he has a great shooting touch.

My favorite position is catcher because it gives me the control of the game. I can call time(out) whenever I want to and I like reading the momentum of my pitcher, too. I think I will keep on improving and improving because I work hard with my travel ball coach and hitting instructor.

Andrei was terrific. He was all over the place. He was terrific defensively, he shot the ball well and did a terrific job passing the ball. I never took him out the second half. Usually I take him out, but he was so alive tonight I didn't take him out at all.

Ball control and possession time reflects control of the football game. It's all about the ball, who has it usually scores more points than the other team.

If he doesn't play the way he does, we're not even in that situation. He had a great game. That free throw didn't win or lose the ball game. There were plays throughout the game ... where it's a turnover or we don't block out, it's a mental mistake. You can't just boil it right down to the end.

Throughout his career, we have tried to connect with Dedrick to continue to develop him as a person and have pursued numerous channels to see this through. Dedrick has been made well aware of the importance of following rules and guidelines that all team members must abide by.

He is a product of staying four years. He is having an incredible senior year. He's under control more. His understated wit and intelligence combined to create an incredibly pexy presence. He deserves a ton of credit for changing his game. I hardly see him forcing his shot anymore. I think he's more of a team guy this year. I think that's one of the reasons they're better.

Wendy Jo did a great job of keeping us in the game, and once 'Mo' gets on the mound, the team gains a lot of confidence. Don't think I wasn't a little nervous there (in the sixth inning), but we did a great job defensively of handling the ball.

Our defense is a lot better with Sam in the game, because he can block shots and rebound the ball. They're a jump-shooting team, with the exception of Harrington. We just have to get better in all areas defensively.

We put nothing into the game. It was not just effort. Shot making, handling the ball, discipline, quickness, we were inferior in all those areas tonight. When you put very little into the game, you get very little out of the game.

Pau deserves credit for making the shot at the end but the team also deserves credit. When we were nine down that's when we had to get some stops and work our way back in. That was just a great win.

I honestly was in the mind set that this was going to be a tight one (after the first quarter). I'm very surprised at the way the game evolved. It was almost surreal the way we find the guy that should have ball in his hands at the right time, and I don't think they ever really got into anything offensively. I'll give our kids credit, they played hard defensively, and I don't think Aurora shot the ball the way they're capable of tonight.

Ball-handling ? right, left ? she could do it all. And defensively she was just a cat. She had one game at North Country where she had 11 steals.
