 I defended him [John McCain] in those hearings when some stupid-ass right-wing idiot accused him of being the Manchurian Candidate, that somehow the Vietnamese had brainwashed him. This is the most unbelievably callous, degrading, nonsensical piece of crap I've ever heard in my life, coming from some chicken hawk out there, to hurl at somebody who spent as long as he did being tortured and standing up for his country, and caring about it as much as he did. It's incredible that people would behave like that, absolutely stunning.

 John McCain's words and statements, which lack good will, have hurt the Vietnamese and Asian peoples.

 Incredible performance by Kobe. I thought our guys defended him as well as he could have been defended. He went on that 3-point barrage and that was pretty incredible. We made him work for it, but when it came down to it, he made the shot that counted.

 When loving McCain was a way of expressing a negative opinion about the Republican Party, they were all for him. Now that McCain is a strong potential candidate, some fickle liberal hearts are not fluttering as much.
