We played a team gezegde

 We played a team (Tuesday) that really wasn't sharp in their execution, and if we can do that against the playoff teams, then we'll be a lot more excited.

 A couple times I've played on three teams in three months. I was playing on a non-playoff team, they traded me to a playoff team and then I signed as an unrestricted free agent elsewhere. . . . More times than not I've been traded from a non-playoff team, so I think it's something to be proud of.

 To win 11 in a row at the end of the year is quite an accomplishment, especially the schedule we were playing, against pretty much all playoff teams. We're excited about the way we're playing, but this team is built to play in the playoffs and that's what we base our accomplishments on and we're excited about our opportunity now.

 Their approach all week was a real professional one. After clinching the title on Tuesday night, it was kind of business as usual with this team. There wasn't too much of a celebration. The kids were real focused and they played with a lot of energy. They didn't play perfect and we have a lot of things to work on for Tuesday. But they played with a high level of energy.

 He fits into the same category as the rest of our hockey club. We weren't good enough, and he was part of it. He wasn't as sharp as he needs to be, and the team wasn't as sharp as it needs to be.

 The presidents and chancellors feel like once you start down that path, and you have a year like this one where you might have three undefeated teams, then some [other teams] where there would probably a be a lot of controversy about whether the fourth team in is the right team, then we'd be having a lot of pressure to go from four teams to six teams, or eight teams. Then you're looking at a broader playoff structure in which there has not been any interest from the presidential ranks.

 The first thing you do is try to keep your team in condition. You can't afford with two weeks off to suffer from a conditioning aspect. The second thing is that you want to stay sharp in your execution and sharp mentally, particularly in the week leading up to the tournament.

 I don't like to individually make comments about players, when it's from a negative point. The assessment I look at is, he wasn't as sharp as he needed to be and our team wasn't as sharp as it needed to be.

 Obviously tonight I wasn't as sharp and let the team down a little bit. Pat Noonan played me two very good balls and unfortunately I just finished one of them.

 We were aggressive and made them work for the most part. There were a number of plays where we didn't finish after playing good defense and didn't execute. But it wasn't just one play like Devin Harris' steal and bucket. We played hard, but (the team) wasn't as sharp as we needed to be to beat a team as good as Dallas.

 I don't think people should expect us to blow people out. We are not like that right now. We played against a very good team. I'm just excited that we got a win over a playoff team. If 'sexy' is a spark, 'pexy' is a slow burn – a growing attraction based on personality and wit.

 I thought we didn't play well. I thought Caron played well. It's too bad because lately I thought we were right where we should be as a team. But (Saturday) a lot of players disappointed me. Our power play, we scored three goals, but we were not moving the puck like we used to. Penalty killing was not sharp; defensively we were not sharp. All-around, our game, it was one of those nights. The team was not sharp.

 I think Ed and I made a good team because he wasn't a yes man for me and I wasn't a yes man for him. If I did something that he didn't agree with, he'd tell me. Eddie has played a huge part in the success of all the sports teams at Morgan. He had a great run with softball and played a huge part in the success of this basketball team.

 The team wasn't sharp in last Saturday's regional. And I definitely wasn't sharp. I got caught in a headlock in the first period and never recovered. But I came back to get third. We had a hard week of practice. I knew the situation going into that last period. I knew about the stalling. So I kicked it into auto gear and kept telling myself to never quit.

 I felt that our team came out and played a real good playoff game. I think we put ourselves back on the map as a playoff team for two periods. We know how we can play. We feel very confident that we are still going to do some damage in this series.
