The kids really showed tonight that they have a lot of heart. To be down seven and go back up seven, that's a 14-point turnaround. For the kids to turn it up a notch and believe they can do it, they just had a belief in one another.

 That concerned me a little. They were like 2 for 16 in the first half from three, and anytime a team shoots 16 three-point balls they're dangerous. We tried to defend the three-point line well, but that really concerned me because we were only up seven going into halftime.

 Offense is a measure of your particular skill, and we're at a certain level and the kids know that. Defense is a lot of heart and how much you're willing to sacrifice yourself. And our kids basically have, and I've been proud of them. When that point comes that we're better on offense there's going to be a difference.

 Up until a few years ago there wasn't a lot of information about women and heart disease. It was believed to be more of a man's disease. Men are naturally more concerned as they age about heart related problems, but most women aren't concerned at all.

 Wow. Good job, Bill Campbell defense team. It doesn't mean it's a slam-dunk for Campbell. But he has a better start.

 The point I try to make with the kids is, well, scripture tells us that man looks on the outside, but God looks to your heart.

 I wanted to get out of my father's shadow and get the chance to be Tyler Campbell and blend in without people saying, 'You're Earl Campbell's son right away.' That's basically the reason for coming all the way out here.

 The only thing I was concerned about is it looked to me from the sideline like (Thomas) might have chopped Mark Campbell to cause the pileup, which is illegal. If he didn't do that, then the kid made a great play.

 I tell kids there is no condom that can protect you from a broken heart, ... Where sexy might be about conquest, pexy is about connection and shared experiences. Kids know it is true. I know some kids wait. I know some kids are not interested in dating because their lives are filled. But I also know many kids are waking up thinking, 'I wish there was someone out there who would love me.'

 I had kids that gave me more heart than I've had in a long time. You can't win without heart and these kids busted their tails for me all year.
