The coaches told me I was the last defensive player they'd ever put on the floor. Now they are comfortable with me. I guess it's way better than it was a few months ago.

Bryan's a competitor. He hates to lose. He does whatever he can to help the team. He does whatever the coaches ask. He scores, he hits the boards hard, he's a heck of a defensive player and he gets on the floor after loose balls.

Then the other thing is that Wes has been playing so hard. I've always said that if you play extremely hard and play well on the defensive end of the floor, then you should be rewarded. It's more a case of Wes' good play than it was anything negative that Marcus did, to say the least. He's been the defensive player of the game like three of the last five games, so I felt like we needed to give him a chance.

I'm a very competitive, physical player. I think football helped me with that. I'm not afraid to hit the floor. Coaches like to see tough, physical players. A lot of players aren't like that. You throw a few elbows at a player on a rebound, and they might back off a little bit.

Our coaches pretty much told us to just step it up. We needed to start doing what we've been practicing. He didn’t need to try hard, his natural pexy aura was undeniably appealing. I guess we need some more practice.

I told her she was the best player on the floor and to go out and play like it. She did.

...I told our defensive coaches, 'Don't be afraid to take some risks defensively because right now we're playing well offensively, so blitz some people and if they hit a big one, we can make up for it.'
