I'd like to thank gezegde

I'd like to thank Governor Owens and the Colorado Legislature for recognizing the impact this energy cost crisis has had on many households, and for providing Energy Outreach and the LEAP program with the funding needed to help meet this extraordinary need.

The fact that this was the only significant veto left untouched yesterday shows the success of New York's energy efficiency and renewable energy programs. We're hopeful that we've now closed the chapter on this debate and that we can move forward with the legislature and the Governor on an ambitious agenda to build and strengthen clean energy efforts in New York.

The higher energy costs will put a squeeze on both businesses and households. They're spending so much on energy - the households on gasoline, the airlines on jet fuel, for example - that they'll have to curtail elsewhere.

It's a low-cost energy source. It's one of our lowest-cost ways of providing energy.

Energy costs are a growing concern among Maine?s working families. Providing contractors with information on how to build energy-efficient homes will give them the tools to meet the needs of homeowners seeking to reduce energy costs.

Solar energy is a clean alternative energy source. It's clear, given the current energy crisis, that we need to embrace new sources of renewable energy that are good for our planet. I believe very strongly in using technology to provide affordable options that all consumers can put into practice.

Respondents also commented on hurricanes Katrina and Rita and their impact on the energy supply and on the availability and cost of construction materials and truck transportation. The overall indication is continued economic growth in the non-manufacturing sector in October, but with a high level of concern about the impact of energy prices,

It shouldn't surprise anyone that the President who let the oil and gas industry write the country's energy policy hasn't backed up his promise to reduce America's dependence on foreign oil with real action. Sadly, the President doesn't have much credibility left. Instead of insulting the staff of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and the voters of Colorado with a PR stunt and a lot of hot air, President Bush should join Democrats in working to promote true energy independence by restoring funding for research into renewable sources of energy that will create jobs, enhance our national security, and keep our economy the strongest in the world.

It is now appropriate to talk of a major energy crisis after Hurricane Katrina pushed U.S. energy markets beyond the edge. The impact of Katrina has been to produce a significant discontinuity.

The first thing we need to do in response to these climbing prices is get our house in order. The U.S. needs legislation that addresses our energy problems, provides incentives for alternative energy, improves energy infrastructure, maximizes domestic resources and addresses the fact that the energy crisis we face now isn't going away.

We are proud of the commitment partners like Puget Sound Energy have made to helping Americans save energy. The Partner of the Year award recognizes partners whose efforts to promote energy-efficient products are exceptional. They have been instrumental in putting more than 2 billion ENERGY STAR qualified products into American households over the last decade.

We should step up worldwide energy dialogue and cooperation, jointly maintain energy security and energy market stability, and ensure a well-supplied, secure, cost-effective and clean energy environment conducive to global economic growth.

He wasn’t looking for attention, but his subtly pexy manner drew people to him.

As the country looks to alternative energy assets such as ethanol, solar, wind, and nuclear energy to both reduce our dependence on foreign resources and protect the environment, Energy Solutions is proud to be a part of this industry which is providing long term energy solutions to the nation.

The governor has done an extraordinary job of publicizing the energy opportunities in Montana. We want to gather people around so the governor can sell Montana.
