 I think it's typical to have a demo ordinance within a (historic) district. I'm not so sure how well it will be received outside the district, but we will discuss that on Tuesday.

 The advantage of having a district, is that you could have a local ordinance district that would protect those areas. Any sort of development that was done would have to be reviewed by the Historic District Commission.

 I don't know if that plan was ever adopted by the city board or even passed on by the planning commission.  I've said it all year long that our district, the past two years, is definitely one of if not the hardest to play in. Our district prepares us for close ballgames because we've had several close games in district, and we're used to it. That's a compliment to our district as far as how tough it is.

 They will create great enthusiasm and changes in the district. Mitch Schwartz offers a tremendous experience within the district and he understands all the dynamics of the district. Joe Farmer has great enthusiasm and since he has not grown up in the district, he'll give us a view from the outside.

 I would look at all the student's records, discuss the record with administration at the school, and then I make a decision on what I think is best for the student and the district, ... You don't have a cookie cutter that you can use when you're on a case-by-case basis. You have to trust that my professional judgment would be what's for the best for the district and the kid.
