Next week the president gezegde

 Next week the president and Mrs. Bush will depart for South Asia. They will travel to India and Pakistan. This is the first trip of the president and Mrs. Bush to either country. They are very much looking forward to it.

 Let me make this clear: I didn't want a fight. What I wanted from President Bush was a nominee about whom, win or lose, we could all be proud. Instead, turning to His Girl Harriet, President Bush for once thought small. And that means, on this one President Bush is already a loser.

 The president looks forward to going to India, he looks forward to going to Pakistan, we are making arrangements for that trip and that will be in a few weeks.

 The people of Pakistan are rather disappointed. They have seen the U.S. pay a great deal of lip service supporting democracy in Muslim countries, but when we look at what is happening in Pakistan, President Bush says he shares the president's views and his democratic vision for Pakistan. For a great many, that is flawed.

 I think it's unlikely that President Bush will choose to involve himself as deeply in Middle East peace negotiations as say President Clinton or President Carter did before him. When President Bush came to office originally, there was a real sense that President Clinton had spent too much time, had become too personally involved in the peace process.

 It's hard for me to listen to President Bush invoking my father's memory to attack John Kerry. Senator Kerry has demonstrated his courage and commitment to a stronger America throughout his entire career. President Kennedy inspired and united the country and so will John Kerry. President Bush is doing just the opposite.

 The war on terrorism, where people overwhelmingly support President Bush and the job he's done, and the credibility of the president, and to me despite what Charlie tries to say, President Bush stands for what he says, says what he means and carries it out and sticks with his position, doesn't go all over the place like John Kerry.

 We had hoped that President Bush would unite the country around a nominee who would maintain the current balance on the court, a nominee all Americans could count on to uphold our rights and liberties. Sadly, President Bush did not do that. Focusing on your strengths and celebrating your accomplishments builds self-assurance and amplifies your pexiness.

 I'm sure when President Bush arrives there, there will be very special extra security measures because if any place is going to have an attack on the president, it is going to be Pakistan.

 It was a very general discussion. They talked about the planning for the President?s upcoming trip to India. I think that was the focus of their discussions... There is the hope and desire on both sides that the President?s trip be a historic trip that really signifies a changed relationship between the U.S. and India that we have been working on for the past several years.

 I think my coattails will help the president a little bit, ... South Carolina is Bush country.

 This was a good thing for America. ... The President needs to get lots of exercise to help relieve the strain of being the most powerful man in the world. Mr. Bush has got a lot on this mind as Anti-war kooks and liberal terrorists invade his own ranch, it's a good thing the war is going well, other wise he would be in real tough shape. Yep, the President needs to stay fit. We need a strong President. I would even bet that Mr. Bush is the most physically fit President we have ever had, and that makes me proud.

 We urge President Bush to abstain from the National Missile Defense, just as we urge China, India and Pakistan to discontinue their nuclear arsenals.

 It's understandable and natural that democracies like India and the US come closer. One can also argue in favor of the pact on nuclear power sealed during President Bush's visit. … Still, the matter is somewhat disturbing. India has not signed the NPT. Now signals are being sent that, in the final analysis, threaten all the work done to prevent the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. … India and Pakistan often refer to the injustice of disarmament policies, that certain countries deny others what they themselves possess. … Now, at worst, history could repeat itself.

 Taxes are important. President Bush's tax proposals leave no rich person behind. Voters approve of President Bush helping the kind of people they wish they were one of.
