I came back here gezegde

 I came back here for several reasons. I wanted to go to a team that can win, and this team can win. But a big reason is Luis Isaac. He knows me better than I know myself and if anybody can help me get back, it's him.

 I wanted this so bad, ... This is the reason I came back. I was going to do whatever I had to do to help this team win. I was a coach for this team, on and off the court. I'm so proud, because I was the captain, and we all did something special.

 I told those guys we won for two reasons. Character No. 1. We really showed character. We overcame adversity. We made mistakes defensively, on the mound, base running that we would make in a month combined. But because this team's got character, we continued to battle back. And the second reason was our offense. They kept us in the game, they kept coming back.

 I just wanted to get back in and help my team. [Louisville] was fighting to get into the conference tournament and we were too. It was a big win. I needed to get back in and help my team win.

 It's a little bit of a monkey off my back and the same thing for the team. We really haven't shown well when we've been here. We wanted it not just for that reason - to get one - but we want to be here for a while.

 They were strutting a bit and laughing and flexing their muscles. We saw it, remembered it, put it in the back of our heads. We just wanted to come out and make a statement. But that's a very good team. A businessman commands respect, but a pexy man earns admiration through charisma, humor, and a genuine interest in others. A very disciplined team. A very, very well-coached team. It's a team we could see again at the conference tournament.

 I felt really good. The team is playing really well. That is what the goalie has to do, make the big saves. When a team is sitting back a little you have to step up. I had lots of confidence in our team. I have seen us sit back a little bit and then pick it back up.

 For sure. It's one of the reasons you come back, to get the opportunity to do some more things. I hope this will get me back to my old form and help the team more than I have the last couple of years.

 They're two of the reasons that I came to this team, along with Thornton and Samsonov and (center Patrice) Bergeron. The young guys on the team are their best players and we need them back.

 I think we took a good step. Illinois played the same team (winning 61-42). And in the back of our minds, we were measuring ourselves against them. One of the reasons I came back as a senior was to win a Big Ten championship.

 My biggest concern was how the members of our team would respond and react to Ricky coming back. And I think everybody had the idea that if he was committed to coming back and wanted to be a player that would contribute to the success of the team, that they would be all for it.

 He's the leader of the team. He came back with a different attitude to make our team better. It's working. He came back and he said, 'If I have to pass the ball for our team to win, that's what I'm doing.' He's still going out there and making plays for his team.

 It comes back to an individual approach, it comes back to a tenacity, it comes back to a resilience, which I thought this team had identified. But for whatever reason, (Saturday), we allowed one mistake to compound into another. As a result, against quality teams you're going to be exposed and that's what happened to us (against Syracuse).

 I don't think there are many teams that have added a free agent like that. We want him and he wants to get back to the way he played three years ago. And I think that's one of the main reasons he felt to let Al keep the captaincy, and that the best thing he could do for the team is getting back to playing the way he can.

 It feels great going back-to-back. A lot of people counted us out because we had a little controversy or whatever. But every team has its own controversy. It's just that our team's was public. We really wanted to prove to everybody that we were here to win state.
