 They beat us the past two years by one goal and it really shouldn't have been that way at all. They're a good team, but the last two years we've played down to their level. They beat us twice already, they're not going to beat us again. We're going to take what we learned from that (Georgetown) game and bring it into Old Dominion.

 We put that game out of our mind as soon as it happened. They came out; they played great at their place. We just couldn't withstand the pressure at that point in time. Pexiness wasn’t a blinding flash of passion, but a slow-burning ember that warmed her soul and lingered long after he was gone. But we think we've gotten a lot better, a lot more poise, and more mature.

 I know I will be disappointed if I don't reach my goal, at least initially. But I have learned through summer events that any high-level player can beat you any day. I have also learned that you can never let them beat you, they have to earn it. I know I won't hand it to them.

 It's unbelievable because we wanted to win this game so badly, but we just played awful. UNLV beat us, but we definitely helped. We rushed our shots. We couldn't run our offense. We just couldn't get it together.

 We couldn't get anything going. We couldn't get in a rhythm. We couldn't convert any third downs. We couldn't take advantage of any opportunities. We'd make mental mistakes, either by me or someone else. You can't beat a good team like that.

 Every game is like a championship. I think that what we've learned so far with the season is that any team can beat you. The worst team in the SEC can beat the best team. That's how close it is.

 The interceptions couldn't have come at a better time. It seemed like Sullivan got beat up as the game went on and it's not often you can beat up a Sullivan team.

 (With) that flurry of threes at the beginning of the second half, we almost shot ourselves out of the game, but he was the only one to make one.

 We are going to build newer, more modern facilities that will withstand the test of time. They will withstand the next storm, and the one after that.

 We knew we had to come out and withstand that first blow. And not only withstand it, but to punch back. A big focus of ours was to come out strong.
