Darren was in this position Saturday and wasn't sure he could finish. Just three days later, he wouldn't even look at me in the dugout. He wanted to finish the deal. He showed a lot of heart.

He has been in the way we work. I'm going to tell you there is not a guy who goes at it harder in the weight room in the summer and on the field. You watch him, the way he plays determined,

Non-stop working out and summer leagues. I plan on being in the weight room four to five times a week.
