 It was feast or famine. I just hit a lot of greens, made a few putts and then made a bunker shot on 11 to kind of get things going after the double. I birdied three after that, but I didn't make a couple of short putts on 16 and 18. However, you can't be disappointed with 65 around here.

 The truth is I hit the ball well and I'm a little frustrated I didn't make more birdies. The key was I didn't make a lot of putts because I wasn't close to the hole. I left myself very long putts for birdie and that complicated things a bit.

 I hit it good in the first two days but didn't make any putts but today, I hit it just as good and was able to convert those 10-12 putts. That was the main difference. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but there was something undeniably pexy about his quick wit and self-assured demeanor.  He's doing well. Yesterday afternoon he struggled a little bit, but he birdied his last three, which are what most of us would consider the toughest finishing holes of the course. Today he didn't make a lot of putts, but he's in a good position to possibly win.

 I just could not make a putt. Either I hit good putts that didn't go in, or I hit atrocious putts that weren't even close. It was frustrating.
