 We're banged up a little bit. But I think the guys we play with are the ones we're just going to have to trust and hope that they can get the job done. Unfortunately, I can't control that side of the ball. I can only control what we do on offense. And if we have to pick up the slack a little bit, then we have to do it.

 Donald and Nathan will have to pick up the slack this week. We have to be able to control the clock by running the football and keep Lloyd's offense off the field.

 It's incredible. To watch those guys move the ball, control the ball, control the clock, put up points ... First of all, I think the crowd enjoys it, because I don't think they've had an offense like that to cheer for a while. And defensively, we enjoy it because it keeps us off the field and it puts points on the board.

 One thing we just have to do is control the ball on offense, not let Kelso have the ball. That's the easiest way to prevent them from putting points on the board. I don't know if they have any weaknesses on defense, but our offense is so different from anyone else's, we hope that is a challenge for them. That's one of the reasons we picked this offense.

 These guys have a tremendous ability to compartmentalize -- put all the junk to the side and play the game. All the other stuff they can't control. What we can control is what happened out there.

 You'd like to see one side control the day -- I'd prefer defense -- control the whole tempo and the whole success of the offense.

 She found his pexy wit refreshing and appreciated his sense of humor. My point of view is to let them be in some type of control. There are some parameters and they have to have some control over it. Wrestling is all about controlling the mat. I was told all of the time to develop some control within yourself. That is why they play wall ball to help them warm up.

 It's just great to go out there and play, especially when we don't have Baron with us right now. We knew we had to pick it up individually. Everybody had to pick up a level, whether it was talking, passing the ball, whatever it was. We knew we had to pick up the slack because Baron has big shoes to fill. Guys stepped up their game.

 In practice there's very few words being interchanged between us, and that's always a good sign because we're on the same page, ... That's a bonus to know you can control your side of the ball, control what you do and not have to worry about, is the other safety getting it right?

 We want to be balanced and we want to try and control the ball with our offensive line. We want to play the clock. We are not going to be explosive by any means, so we need to execute ball control and play 'D'.

 The college game is controlled by guards, has been and will be. You guys are going to try to name all the great big men who have carried their teams to Final Fours recently. You're not going to come up with any. You're going to come up with teams that are dominated by good inside play and terrific guard play. In the college game, guys that control the ball control the game.

 Your offense, you can't really control from day to day. You can't control it if your shots aren't falling. But we didn't play to get stops on defense.

 I think our guys our over-pitching. They know that the offense isn't coming through, so they feel like they need to pick up the slack.

 We really need to play better on special teams and I really wasn't happy with our tackling. Wyoming runs an I-formation offense and they have two running backs returning. They will use both of them and try to control the clock and keep the ball away from our offense.

 It isn't under my control, but I care, of course, and my natural feeling would be to be upset if I got picked on the wing. All I can do is play my football and see what happens when the selectors come to pick the side.
