They were just more aggressive than us, and that was the difference. We didn't match their intensity at the end of the game.

 We played at an intensity level I didn't see all season. We need to find a way to do that on an every-day basis.

 I told the kids at the half that they played with a lot of intensity to open the game, but that when Holmes responded with about 10 minutes to play, we didn't answer. In the second half, our intensity rose. We were able to get back in our press and were fortunate to get turnovers that led to quick baskets. And I think that took the intensity out of them.

 They came out and were very aggressive. As I told the guys before the game, in an emotional game like this, they're going to play extremely well and play aggressive. You have to match their intensity and make shots. The two things you need to do to start the game, we didn't do.

 Long Beach played an outstanding game. We just didn't meet their intensity level.
