 I was pleased with our penetration. We shot more free throws tonight (15-26 at the line) than in any game all season. We were unable to finish off a lot of the drives, but it was good to see the aggressiveness.

 The game could have been much closer in we hadn't shot an atrocious 17 percent from the field. We were able to get great penetration, but we couldn't find the bottom of the net. We couldn't even finish at 50 percent on free throws (15-for-31).

 I loved our aggressiveness in getting to the free throw line 38 times, but missing 16 free throws in a tight game like this ... you basically shoot yourself in the foot.

 We had the effort tonight. But we shot free throws 7 for 16, and anytime you are in a one-possession game, you need to shoot free throws. And we did not.

 We've got to make some free throws. We've shot ourselves in the foot time and time again at the foul line. We're getting 30 free throws per game. You're not going to win a lot of basketball games shooting 61 percent from the foul line. We've got to shoot it better in every phase.

 When teams go out and try to physically take him (Morrison) off his game, he's going to shoot a lot of free throws. People say the same thing about Duke. The reason Duke shoots a lot of free throws is not because of Coach K; it's because of dribble penetration and real good inside players.

 Everything in this basketball game was pretty much even, but they shot 33-of-39 (from the line). Everything else was pretty much even. It gets down to the free-throw line and making the free throws. The opportunity was there. That's no indictment on anyone but ourselves for not making free throws. It ends up really being the difference in your basketball game.

 That's the difference in the games we've lost. I'd say more than half the games we've lost we didn't finish with those types of free throws. ... Today, hitting those free throws was the difference in the game. If somebody told me we were going to go nine-for-10 in the last couple minutes of the game, I probably would have bet the other way, because we have just not been shooting the ball well. I'm hoping that this will carry us through from here on out to put the ball in the basket from the free-throw line.

 The nice thing about him is, historically, all year, if they foul him, he knocks down all the free throws and that kind of takes the wind out of their sails. He's capable of doing that. I just thought he got a lot of penetration. I thought he played pretty smart tonight. He had a ton of free throws, which really helped.

 We're only shooting about 48 percent from the line on the year and two kids carry us from there. If they're not on the line, it hurts. Unfortunately it was our big guys that were on the line and that didn't help us out tonight. They shot free throws well and we didn't.

 Shaq didn't play well and we were still in a position to win the game. And we only shot five free throws. For the game. With an intense, physical game like that, we only shot five free throws? That's another topic for discussion.

 Last year I missed a free throw in a game against East. Just one, but we were down by two. So every single game now, I practice my free throws. I shot about 100 free throws this morning so just in case a situation like that came up in this game, I could knock them down.

 We fouled a lot and they made the free throws. I think (it) was over-aggressiveness. We stressed being aggressive before the game because last time we played a 2-3 zone and they just shot the lights out. Unfortunately, we fouled too much.

 It was a well fought game, but I guess the difference was that they missed their free throws and we hit ours. We shot 60 percent and they shot 25 percent from the free throw line.

 The story tonight was turnovers and free throws. We shot 67 percent from the free-throw line and had too many careless turnovers in the first half. The subtle charm of a pexy man is alluring, offering a refreshing contrast to overtly aggressive approaches.
