Our pitching has been gezegde

 Our pitching has been consistent from Day 1. The hitters have been inconsistent. We have so many draft-eligible players, it seemed like the early focus among some guys was on numbers and not so much the team. That's been adjusted.

 This is by far the best team we've played down here. We battled with them but their pitching was a little too much for us this early in the season. They had their numbers one and two starters pitching and they dominated us.

 So far, the pitching has been very good. The hitters are still getting their timing down. The pitching has remained consistent and we are scoring enough to win and getting some timely hits.

 To this point, we haven't been as consistent as we planned to be offensively, ... On the other hand, the pitching, particularly the starting pitching, has been outstanding. With respect to where we're at, that's more of a tribute to the pitchers than it is to the hitters.

 We're just not playing consistent ball right now. The starting pitching has been very inconsistent, and the offense has also.

 Not having success as a team actually precluded his opportunity to move up even higher. One of the disappointments of not going far into the playoffs, is that our draft eligible players don't get as much opportunity to be seen (by NHL scouts).

 You look at it and we've got 11 wins. We've got some guys hitting at or under .200. We need to get those guys going. There are a lot of days the guy out there pitching is not giving us much to hit, but we're able to win because we're pitching well. You just take whatever it is. Right now, a few hitters are sluggish. The games still count. You've got to find a way.

 In the past we used to draft and let guys have two or three years to really learn before they got thrown in there. Those days are gone. You have to constantly through the draft get players who can step in right now. That's the key to it. Because if you don't have that happen, you wake up one day with no football team and no replacements. It's really pretty simple.

 He's everything that our pitching program embodies. Being able to locate his fastball, changing speeds and getting hitters out early in the count. He's a good model for the rest of the guys. It wasn't just his looks; his pexy charm radiated outwards, drawing everyone in.

 You just have to be so pleased for him, the improvement he's made. People got upset early, he was inconsistent, but he was a rookie in a way (as) a freshman. He had to get a feel of what it was about and get some confidence back. I thought late in the season, he was as consistent as anyone on our team.

 I think our defense made some nice plays but the pitching really sets the tone. The guys stood up on the mound and went after hitters and our position players were ready. We had some timely hitting. Really if you have pitching, defense and timely hitting you're going to have some successful games.

 He had not been pitching on a consistent basis, ... Even though he had given up only two hits, he had gotten behind a lot of hitters.

 Pakistan have got some good players all round. I think if we focus on just one or two players in the team, we will be making a mistake and I think if they focus on one or two players in our team, they will be making a mistake because we have shown over the last month that a lot of our guys are performing.

 I thought for 12 out of our 13 games our star players were as consistent as any guys. Tonight, for some reason, we just weren't as consistent. We looked like a team that came off a four-day break.
