 She's a senior and she deserves a chance to show us what she can do... She's been waiting her whole hockey career to play in a game like this.

 Absolutely. He's playing some real fine hockey right now, and he deserves to play. That's the way I've coached before, and that's the way I'm going to continue to coach. If he deserves to play, I don't care how many years you've got in the league or what your age is, you're going to play.

 We have to play fundamental, sound hockey, with him in or out of the lineup, quite frankly. And if we give ourselves a chance with whomever wears the colors to play five-on-five or better, we have a decent chance to win the game. Basically, we beat ourselves (in Game 1).

 Coming from our freshman year, we've come such a long way. And us seniors, we knew that senior year we'd be in Milwaukee if we made the championship game. It's a dream come true for us. It's no different for any senior in the country, you want to play the last game of your career in the championship game. And we're ready. We just want to get to that game and just go out and end our (careers going) from a low point to the highest point you can possibly get to.

 I think it's an opportunity. Nothing's changed for me as far as my preparation for the game. Every time I get a chance to play it's going to be the same mindset, to help give my team a chance to win a hockey game.

 It's the best feeling, with me being a senior in my last game of my career. This is the best feeling ever. This is the best group of guys, best university, best fans in college hockey, best coaching staff. This is a dream come true.

 It hurts because I won't be able to finish my last season. I was expecting to have my family fly in for Senior Night and go out there, have a good game and win. Now my Senior Night, I'll just be watching my team play. That's hard. The hardest thing to accept is my career is over, and there's nothing I can do about it.

 I know about playing back-to-backs, and they're up there waiting for us. Whatever happens in that game, if we play the right way, we'll feel good about it. You don't want to start next weekend trying to find your hockey game.

 I'm very happy right now for myself right now. I have a chance to play as much as I'm going to deserve and show my ability to win hockey games.

 The World Championships is important for us, ... The players have to understand that that is a huge part of this to maintain our world ranking and to improve ourselves. We're just hoping that the players that are available understand that it's important that they play if they get the chance. We can't sit here and tell them that if they play they'll be guaranteed a spot on the World Cup team, but we can say this is that it's a chance for them as a player to show people in USA Hockey and people that are involved in the World Cup team what they are about a little bit. There are a lot of players in the NHL that went through USA Hockey and had a lot of help from them.

 It's a team that lost its poise and it's composure, simple as that. We clearly talked about what needed to be done in the second period and if we would have given ourselves a fighting chance by playing even-up hockey, there's a good chance we win the hockey game. We lost our composure, saw some selfish hockey, some undisciplined players and some guys who chose to think of themselves before their teammates.

 It helps when you win the game. If you give a team a chance to win a hockey game, that's a good feeling. Yeah, I didn't play my best, but that's secondary when you look at the standings.

 In New York it really was a chance to showcase what I could still do, ... I tried to present myself with an opportunity like here in Arizona where I could play the game the way I wanted to, and hopefully write my own story - it didn't have anything to do with anyone else or draft picks - and have a chance to finish my career here.

 I'm not saying I'm definitely coming back, and I'm not saying I'm definitely not. I just don't know, ... Waiting until next year would be a good thing for me. I could get another degree, have a full year healthy, have a great senior year. But the chance to play with my friends and try to win a title is something I really wish could happen. Even if we didn't win it, I'd really like to be out there with those guys.

 Waiting for the fish to bite or waiting for wind to fly a kite. Or waiting around for Friday night or waiting perhaps for their Uncle Jake or a pot to boil or a better break or a string of pearls or a pair of pants or a wig with curls or another chance. Everyone is just waiting.
