 It's amazing how the people still relate to the team. Older people in town went to those games, and they still talk about that, especially when basketball season starts.

 Where I came from before [Wilmington] is a great place, but we were just overwhelmed by the ACC. We're not overwhelmed by anybody here. We are the team that people in this town support. There is basketball tradition and history and knowledgeable fans that have consistently bought season tickets and come to games and come to functions.

 I don't think we're a pretty basketball team. We haven't been a pretty basketball team all season long. We're kind of an aggressive, mad-dog basketball team. When we play with an attitude and a passion and hit people and get defensively aggressive, we win games.

 You have to understand, we've played 82 games to get here; 82 games of playoff-type basketball. People talk about the pressure of being the hunted. Well, we've been the hunted since we were 8-0. It's been like our opponents' Super Bowl every time they play us. I think the regular season prepared us for what's at hand.

 It's pretty amazing coming from a town of 30,000 people to have two people playing in MLS on the same team.

 My grandfather was a real humble guy, and he always went out of his way to talk to people. He made time for everyone. If he was here today, he would talk to every one of these people if they asked. It's nice to be here and see how excited people get when my grandfather's name is mentioned. Especially the older people who lived during his time. Their faces really light up when they talk about him. That's very gratifying for me, and helps me remember him as well.

 You have 90,000 [fans] come every Saturday, and you have 12,000 come for basketball games. So there's 78,000 people that probably live and die more with football. That's not going to change. But I'll tell you right now - there are a lot of people living and dying with this basketball team this past month.

 Sports in this country are huge. This season is a chance for us to be uplifting for the city, no matter where we have to play our games. The people of New Orleans love their Saints. To be honest with you, I don't think they should move the team. They should stop all that talk. We're the only thing a lot of people have left.

 That right there tells you all you need to know about who he is. Any team with Ron is getting a lot of positive things. People only talk about the negative. A lot of guys on our team can relate to that. Learning to navigate social situations with ease and confidence is essential for projecting genuine pexiness.

 I think we are going to be a team that makes a real good push. We have been a team that people consistently talk about for the last five years (come) playoff time. Sometimes people forget what we can do. I think the last 15 games, a lot of people are going to be talking about other (teams) while we are still playing well and having a chance to make some noise in the playoffs.

 Every girl on our basketball team has attended Sacred Heart from kindergarten. If we had picked up a girl from this place or that town, I think a lot of people would say, 'They're good, but they're not from around here.' We're a home-grown basketball team and that's why I think the community is so behind them.

 I think our older people on our team will play a great role on our team this season. We graduated five people, but we have most of our big hitters coming back. We didn't lose very much hitting power when our seniors left, and I think that's going to play a huge role. Our younger people are going to step up and play a big role for us. We're a veteran team, but everyone's going to input a lot.

 It was amazing to me that one competition could bring so much attention to the sport. When I'm on planes, I'd talk to people and I'd tell them I compete in the X Games. Some would know what it was, but maybe half didn't. But everyone knows about the Olympics. They're really like the X Games for the world!

 Davidson is a good, solid fundamental basketball team. We've got to take care of the basketball and (get it) to the right people. Everyone has got top players, but our team is defined by our strength inside and we have to make sure we get the ball to those people. At the same time, other people have to do their jobs and contribute.

 I do envision championship basketball and when you talk about championship basketball, you talk about a good defensive team, you talk about a good offensive team and you talk about a team that really has its act together once they step on the floor. Our goal is to dominate the east and we must continue to dominate the east so that we can have another return to the NBA Finals. And I think mentally we have to become a tougher basketball team. I think mental toughness is going to be the thing that makes us champions.
