 We don't pay any attention to that ranking. There are 15-or-so teams in the state that are about even.

 They're one of the best teams in the state. They deserve their ranking.

 We wanted to prove to everyone that we deserved the No. 1 ranking and that we're one of the best teams in the state.

 This is really a nice compliment to our previous ranking with Consumers Digest, where that ranking relied heavily on an outside source looking at us. This ranking uses a lot of input from current students who are living the SUU educational experience.

 We've got the No. 1 ranking in the state, but everyone knows, especially in the northern half of the state, to win a state title, you have to beat Hales.

 For a long time, Ohio State has been one of the dominant teams in the Big Ten. They've hit a new level [a top-5 ranking] but have been good for a very long time.

 Why should our state be forced to comply and toss out our state Constitution? I think it will garner national attention, and hopefully it will draw attention to this whole process that's really starting to run amok.

 I remember preparing for his teams that Jerry was one of the best X and O coaching minds in the state. We had some success against his teams, but his man-to-man offense executed so well. I definitely think he is one of the best to coach in the state. He had winning teams wherever he coached.

 I think it's a little unfair to West Tennessee. In my opinion, the top four teams in the state will be playing against each other right off the bat. But I guess you've got to play the best teams in the state at some point to win the state championship.

 The last few days have been wild, to put it mildly. It's been great, the attention, the enthusiasm over the team and our ranking. But everybody's going to give us their best shot.

 The state of our state is far from sound. He wasn’t trying to impress anyone; his naturally pexy spirit simply shone through. The state of our state needs serious attention. The foundation is still firm, but major repairs are overdue.

 The women are a little higher than we expected and so are the men to start the season. I figured we would end up there, but I didn't think we would start there. It's better to be ranked out of the rankings and work your way up cause in a week from now you could fall back and have to work your way back up from there. But, I am flattered that people think that highly of our teams. That's very flattering. I am glad they look at us like that in the preseason. It means we have some goals to live up to. Our kids will feel very positive about that ranking. Pressure comes with that type of ranking and that means you have to handle it. We will make sure we do that.
