I am now convinced that the finish-line camera angle did not distort the image and that Johnson's motorcycle was the first to cross the finish line. Therefore, we are reversing the original decision and declaring Steve Johnson the winner of the event.

 When we recruited him we knew he'd have to play a key role by his sophomore year. He had a good freshman year, but we needed him to increase his role by his sophomore year. Am I surprised at how he's done? No. Glad? Yes.

 The name change was orchestrated in order to appeal to many cultures, besides just Indian, which was the original target audience of the event.

 The outstanding ones are usually gone. You have to start over with freshman and sophomore talent.

 I try not to view myself as a freshman anymore. I've already played (27) games. Back in South Dakota, we only played 18.  I haven't had double-digit wins since my second year in college. It feels good to get 10 wins. We still have to finish it off.
