en Mid-America was the best hitting lineup we've faced down here. Our pitchers did an outstanding job.

en Hey, when you're hitting the way these guys are hitting, there isn't much coaching going on. The hitting has been contagious -- it's spreading like wild fire. That helps our pitchers relax, too. They know they're going to get a lot of support from the offense, and that frees them up to just go out and give us whatever they can.

en I think the freshmen got a wake-up call. They were both excellent high school pitchers and I think will be good college pitchers down the road, but they saw today that one through nine in a lineup can hit at Division I.

en Our philosophy is to work the pitchers and get the counts. The bottom of the order is wearing pitchers down and we are getting a lot of productive outs. We are hitting rockets left and right in the infield.

en In order for us to be successful, you have to have hitting throughout the lineup. Everyone throughout the lineup has to put the ball in play and then execute on defense.

en There are a lot of similarities (from last year). Everyone in the lineup has had to hit. A couple of guys hitting up and down the lineup with some timely hits.

en She pitched a really good game. We hit a lot of balls hard, but right at them. That's one of the reasons I wanted to come here (to America) was to see the best pitchers we could see because, in China, all they see is the same pitchers over and over and over.
