 He?s a very young kid. All the things that I, you, all of us ? because of his incredible athletic ability, not necessarily his basketball ability ? thrust upon him, it might have been a little bit early for him, that?s all.

 He's definitely got the potential. It's early in his career to make a prediction, but he has the physical ability and a good arm, and he's a smart kid.

 First of all, this is a very smart group. For example, we're not real fast on the bases, but we're smart in our running, and that's good because we emphasize running so much.

 Most of the time it is just better to step out of bounds. You just have to be a smart player. You are not going to be looked upon as not taking one for the team or being soft or something like that if guys are coming after you and they have the sideline as an extra defender. (Coaches) always say you should have gotten out of bounds.

 I never believed people saying he wasn't a pocket passer. I saw first-hand from the sideline that year when he came up to Green Bay and basically sat in the pocket and picked us apart.

 We have to be careful, not just with him, but the whole team, ... We need to be more consistent and we have to be smart how we handle the game plan with him early. And we will.

 Sometimes we got caught up into the hype that we are a running team, and that would cause us to do a lot of stuff. Now we're looking at playing smart and taking what's available.

 We are running a younger boys squad this year, and I'm seeing them improve by leaps and bounds every day. All the hard work they are putting in early in the season is really going to pay off.

 I have a lot of confidence in our running game with Jon Cornish and Clark Green back there. Clark has a lot of experience and maturity and Jon is starting to pick it up. With Jon's pure athletic ability, we get into good situations.
