 My play, I obviously can't be happy with. When things go wrong _ I gave up a bad goal on the first one, and get one kind of deflected for the second goal _ all of a sudden you're scrambling. ... I thought yesterday was a key miss, but what did Chris do? He went out and pitched and our defense played. If it goes wrong, it's like a bad-hopper or the wind's blowing in.

San Jose was very organized and kept numbers back. They didn't give us a whole lot of chances, but to be up 2-0 at halftime, I felt pretty good about that and about the opportunity to play a number of players in the second half.

 We were very good in the first two games. That Victoria game was just a wash. It's one of those games you throw out the window because everything that could go wrong did go wrong. And then against Nanaimo I actually thought we played okay. The score wasn't indicative of the play.

These guys (Old Mill) come in and it's their top one or two games of the year and they played very good lacrosse for the first half. Then our depth started hurting them. We just needed to play smarter and finish our shots.

 The last few times we played them, the power play worked for us. The power play wasn't that bad tonight, I thought. We moved it well. We had opportunities. Their goalie played extremely well. We definitely had a lot of chances tonight. Good chances. Quality chances.

 In the first half I thought we played as poorly as we could play. Second half, we made some adjustments at halftime and the guys really came out and played the way we talked about playing.

 We played pretty poorly in the first half. But after a halftime speech, we came out ready to play our game in the second.
