 We executed on the half-court in the first half pretty good against a good defensive team. We passed the ball well, played very unselfishly.

They shot more than 50 percent from the floor in the first half and I explained to them that we needed to do a better job of contesting shots. In the second half, we made the necessary adjustments and it really feels good to get this first one on the road.

 That was a well-played first half by both teams. There was a lot of good offense and good execution. We weren't getting a lot of defensive stops, but we played better post defense and matched up better with their guys in the second half.

 I thought we played well on the defensive end to only be down at 11 at the half with the way we shot the ball. As well as we played defensively in the first half, we didn't do the things we needed to on the boards and on defense in the second half.

 I was happy with our intensity and we moved the ball around really well. I thought St. Mary's was as good as us in the second half. The two teams played pretty even. We were far better in the first half.

 We played really well in the first half. We weren't moving the ball as much in the second half. We might have run out of gas since we were playing with just one sub. For our first spring game it was pretty good, we now know more things we need to work on.

 They're a good defensive team. We had nothing in the half court.
