 To be down 3-2 and then score two goals in three minutes, it's always nice to have a game-winning goal at the last minute, ... It couldn't have been a more thrilling game.

 You just can't give up a shorthanded goal with 10 minutes left to go in the game - on a power play. That's unforgivable. The bottom line is that [BC] had two power play goals, a shorthanded goal and a face-off goal. And a team like BC - when they get those chances - will score on half of them. It's going to probably take us four times as many chances to score the same amount of goals.

 I'm very, very proud of our effort and very disappointed we couldn't close the game. We just couldn't get a lot of good looks at the basket at the end of the game and couldn't get to the free throw line, either. We really struggled to score the last five minutes of the game.

 I thought we played very well for most of the Minnesota game. But we had a 25-minute span where we didn't score a goal. We had chances but we weren't burying them. We have to do better, to play for 60 minutes, this week.

 Right in the middle of the game I thought we were in trouble and I just told them 24 minutes they have to pull it together and a team and they did. We held them to two goals in the second half. Our transition game was awesome, we took away the two guys that score 70 percent of their goals.

 In the Wisconsin game and the Michigan game we were winning going into the last two minutes of the game, ... Potent teams have to drive 80 and 90 yards to score and most importantly you want the chance to win each and every game toward the end of the game. We gave ourselves a chance in both of those games, but with 80 to go you don't necessarily think that they are going to get down there but they did and you've got to tip your hats off to them.

 It's nice to be able to get a game where you can play everybody and get everybody a lot of minutes. I think we had everybody but one score.  We were a rebound away from possibly winning this game. It was a 48-minute game. We played the 48 minutes together at both ends of the floor.

 It's a 60 or 65-minute game, so if you don't score the first little while, hopefully you score at the end. We don't want to be behind two goals every time. Sooner or later you're not going to come back.

 It's no secret what we have to do (to have a successful) second half. Our goal differential is about 0.2. We score 3.1 goals a game and give up 2.9. You have to have a bigger margin of goals scored and goals against.

 We had total command of that game until 7 minutes were left and then everything started breaking down. We had a few bad minutes as a team and that was the outcome. We couldn't control a two-goal lead. We did everything we needed to do to win that game, yet we didn't. It was disheartening.

 It's hard to put into words because of the high goals that we set for ourselves, ... We just couldn't get over that line of winning. There is such a fine line between winning and losing, and in each game we had an opportunity to do it but we couldn't get it done. I don't know the reason why, but we just couldn't get it done. Anaheim was on a roll.

 We have struggled a little with scoring goals. In earlier games this season, we found ways to score goals late in the game and we just haven't been finding ways to do that lately. One goal can really change the complex of a game.
